Crew Aboard REA Technical  Services

Ronald Armentrout_edited_edited.jpg
Ron Armentrout

Ron served in the USCG for 5 years as an electronics technician where he attended schools for electronics on Governors Island, NY. Upon discharge he worked in the New Jersey area and eventually started his own company, which grew to 22 employees and built an 8000 sq ft retail building. They specialized in marine electronics, both commercial and recreational and started a land based A/V, security, surveillance, home automation, secured access and home theater division.

Ron has extensive experience in the mega yacht industry and has worked on all types of marine electronics. "One of the most awesome jobs I got to experience was the stepping of the masts on a 64m Perini Navi; I have been blessed with the opportunity to be involved with three of them. The most exciting trip was a week long repair in Venice, Italy where I had plenty of time to explore the city. The second most memorable was when my wife was able to come for a trip to St. Thomas. We had been there before, but it was nice to take the 'work' out of the endeavor." Ron has stated he wants to create a company focused on quality, not quantity. His years of engineering experience have honed his abilities to provide quality service.
